Budgeting is more important than total income.

Cuz you're not dating how much they make a year, you're dating how much they willing to put aside for those activities

Pretty much this. I don't particularly care how much a woman makes but if I meet her and she's struggling or putting herself in debt, but she wanna wear the most expensive clothes, fine dining, extravagant trips, gifts etc... Then that sounds like a "get your priorities straight" issue. And regardless how much I got, I am not about to come in and finance your lifestyle which you can't afford, more importantly, see you disrupt my financial peace of mind with your lack of financial discipline either.

I worked too hard and sacrificed too much, to entertain any of that bullshit.
So really it all boils down to the potential person I'm dating financial relationship with money than the actual income. If you can manage your affairs well and have a lifestyle to match without putting yourself in debt or having to live check to check as a result, then that should be all that counts.
