I'm the bold, I'm always looking for something that pays more. I don't give a shit about my coworkers opinion, I know I get my work done and that's all that matters. I'm anti social at the job, I only speak to those people when I absolutely have to
 
I am the punctual perfectionist. I get to work 15 min early, get my Shit done early. Used to help on overflow, but these mufuccas don't appreciate the shit I do, so now, I do the minimum, get out.

Co-workers respect my shit, and model their shit around my format.

Management don't want to give me the $ I'm worth, but try to squeeze all they can outta me...so I do my assignments, nothing more.

I’m a quick learner, that’s why i feel like I can do anything. I have my days where I wanna slack but even those days I work a good amount.
 
I'm punctual in and punctual out.
I help those who need it most.
I speak when spoken to.. and try to be incognito when I can.

Folks love me tho because I practice great ethics, I'm diligent, reliable, resourceful and approachable.

That's everywhere. I just started a new position two weeks ago and I got low-balled but it's a union so there's no disputing it. I been looking for a new job just bout everyday.
 
When I was an employee I always felt like if I wasn’t the smartest person I could definitely out work everyone. You can control that. I also looked at the jobs that no one wanted to do and did them. Became an expert at them. Being a black man in corporate America was hard but for the most part I took what the defense gave me. Worked in areas where they were more comfortable paying a black person top dollar. I always had business and investments outside so I decided to leave corporate America for the most part and do my own things and I think I am a good boss. I pay a little more than most and I listen to the people that work for me and let them make a lot of decisions. I feel like the person doing the actual work knows the best way to do their actual job for the most part. I always have a system of the more we make the more we pay so it is leveled and I am always trying to set people up to work for themselves. Self employed can not get lay off!!!!! The idea of working for babylon forever just doesn’t work anymore. I still work in corporate America as a consultant but I make my own rules.
 
Nah I work hard. I got a bonus like every week at FedEx. I got awards and all, lol. I enjoyed my job even though they had a lot of bullshit with them.
I didn't stay but a little glad I didn't because now I'm actually more focused on building my career.
 
The only validation i care about comes in the form of a paycheck.. Ive helped out alot my fuck you credits shouldnt be questioned but you know how job are. This gig is a whole heap of fuckery but i do my job and try my best to communicate
 
I'd say top ranked with my boss, very low ranked with co workers

im that come to handle business guy....no frills, no thrills, I dont chat, I skip the parties, i dont do lunches with nobody, etc...been this way 7 years strong and have held my position thru jail (they bailed me out), court, bm drama, etc.....not to mention I have no degree

its been even more evident since I got my own office....there's actually more qualified people here that cant move like i move b/c they just havent been here long enough and/or dont know how to maneuver....big talk and flash but dont get shit done


as an employer.....im more like silent partner, call me if you cant get in touch with these 3 people first....I dont come around a whole lot b/c its still awkward to me and im not that involved with the inner workings....so i get hit with questions I dont know shit about and gotta be real quick on my feet lol
 
right now I'm at a perfect perfect place..

the stress level in my personal life is at an all time high, and yet my job site is at all all time laid back and chill....

the site i'm at now my company has had for 6 years, but they lost the account in 2016. however the new contract is taking a long time to rol their equipment in so we still have like 150 devices on campus, and that's a very large fleet.

a big reason we lost the contract is that our previous site reps here weren't doing shit....

and i totally get it.....this is the easiest site i've ever been on to not do shit at....

but they were lunching hard...shit was stupid....like, these nigaz was putting in no effort at all...they hardly came to work, and when they did they didn't do shit....

i'm largely considered one of the better employees at my company... but i got into a lotta bullshit a few years back at another site....so my company been bumping me around a lot.....they finally dropped me here, cuz they figured it's a shit hole site, there's literally no trouble i can get into..and best case scenario i'll clean up the inventory and pic up the slack of like 4 year of niggaz not doing shit here...

and in 1 year i really turned this site around... it's getting a large majority of it's billing and inventory now..i've improved morale and relationsons with the client...our service calls are down, our overall device downtime is down like almost 1000% which is both hilarious and ridiculous...there has even been talk about the university canceling the contract with the new vendor and extending our contract...and they cited me as one of their main reasons...

like i'm being applauded as making this one of the most improved sites nation wide, and i'm literally putting in like 30% effort right now....

if not less than that...

I was with a company for 10yrs and always put them above myself and my family

They let me walk out the door without so much of a fuck you very much

Before I was all in about they needs, now I'm all in about my needs

And I needs my money
 
i just got my 10 years gifts in the mail..

i got a few video games and some headphones i already lost,

wife gotta nice leather tote bag that turned into a baby bag, lol

It was 18yrs for me but yeah fuck em. Nowadays I go in get my money then if the next job comes around paying more I dip. No more loyalty free agent status over here.
