It's not accurate. Ancestry is self reported and people lie and misrepresent.
If all the lightskin people lived in Delaware it would report that the most common ancestry is African-American. But they're lightskin so instead of reporting that the common ancestry is mixed or tied between 2 ethnicities it would say:
1st most common ancestry is African-American
2nd most common ancestry is English
I'd guarantee that I'd you find the data collected to make this map it'll say some shit like all the places where German is first ancestry that English or "American" is the 2nd and 3rd ancestry.
