I used to love Beyonce. I don't know if its her newer music or her fans but I'm not really interested in her music anymore. her fans are very obnoxious. The way she is covered in the media is obnoxious. It's like everything she does is above being critiqued. If we keeping it a buck her music has gotten worse since 2008.
The real turnoff is her fans though. They make it really hard to enjoy anything she does. Its like get off her dick man shit. Her whole rapping angle is trash and if this was any other female R&B artist we'd be calling it trash.
And I'm not taking anything away from the work she or any of the people who she employs and works with. They all seem to do well at their craft. I'm just saying that everything associated with her is over the top.
Correct me if I'm wrong but is the whole premise about her Cochella performance that black artist don't really get any play at that festival and she decided to use her platform as the most popular artist in the world to bring a really really black performance there? If that's the case then I really don't care too much about it. I'm over black folks feeling like we need to take our ball to white peoples yard to show them that we can ball so that they accept us. Nigga if you can ball go play ball. Stop worrying about people who have showed us for years that they don't really want to fuck with us. Just do yo thing. I could be wrong if that's not really what's going on here but if that's the case FOH.
Also there's about 5-6 other singers that I fuck with more on a singing tip. I'm hesitant to even call Beyonce R&B anymore. She's straight Pop to me now. I also really like Ciara more on the dancing side. I could watch Ciara dance for a whole 2 hour show.
