History you didn't know....... The Battle of Bamber Bridge

Did you know in WWII black soilders and white soldiers went to war with each other? Particular part of Europe didn't practice segregation and exclusion like the crackas in the US so black soldiers were treated like humans.

Of coarse the white soldiers didn't want black soldiers being treated with respect and dignity. Eventually a war/riot broke out and the two started firing guns at each other.

Ironically the people of Bamber was in the black soldiers side and taunted the white soldiers and put Blacks Only in all the bars and restaurants.

They never taught is this in school. Gee I wonder why?

"We do have quite a dilemma here in Maryland, don't we? As we hide the facts of history in the name of political correctness, we face the ultimate irony. Baltimore is named after Cecil Calvert, second Lord Baltimore. In 1663 Charles Calvert, the third Lord Baltimore, had the dubious distinction of being the first to legally mandate in Maryland that once a slave, a slave for life, and the children of slaves also to be slaves for life. Other states quickly followed.
If a mere statue is offensive ("Hogan and Taney," Aug. 21), then we must not allow the city known as Baltimore to continue to honor the very man who legally cemented the institution of slavery in this country."

These bastards need to give all this land to us. All these acres owned by slave owners should be ours.

" There were several plantations situated in Prince George’s County. George H. Calvert, Lord Baltimore, possessed close to 10,000 acres of land between his plantations Goodwood and Riversdale. His parents Benedict and Elisabeth Calvert owned Mt. Airy plantation in Rosaryville Maryland located in southern Prince George’s County. There were other plantations in the county as well; Sarah Ogle Hilleary owned Three Sisters in Lanham; Thomas Spriggs Jr. owned Lake Arbor in Largo, and former Governor Oden Bowie owned Fairview in Collington. Acquiring slaves for these plantations was relatively convenient since the slave marketplace was located in Upper Marlboro, which was in the county also. "
