Have you dated a "im not into looks" person

Have you ever dated a person that wasnt into looks? Did they tell you that or did you find out? How would you feel if the person you are dating or your partner wasnt physically attracted to you but was attracted to everything else about you? Things like your personality, intellect, hustle, humor, and other stuff. Would you still be with them or will your ego get in the way?


Me being handsome all my life, I never been in this experience. I was always told I was attractive from the people I dated. I can't prove this but im well certain that at least 50% of people on here look like gargoyles. It shows in the way some of yall post your thoughts on here. Have yall had this experience before?

To answer my own question, I dont think it would be an issue. I think she looks good and have other qualities going for her, im good on my end. If she didnt find me physically attractive but loved my personality and humor, I would like to think I would be gassed up. Got a fine girl off personality alone.

There are people that want to be reminded by their partner how good they look.

In the Seinfield episode I got this from, Elaine's friend was interested in George. Elaine was wondering why and mentioned his physical qualities. Her friend didnt care and she said she doesnt care about looks. George found out and was mad, because he thought she was calling him ugly.

I flip that scenario to all on this board.

I've dated a chick because she was very smart, I was attracted to her I.Q., she literally was a nerd, brought on a very calm essence, plus she enjoyed getting my bags off the carousel belt at baggage claim.

Most women liked me cuz of my smile and dimples. It's the most common compliment I've gotten in life. I know I'm also pretty funny. I attribute my smile and my sense of humor to all of my success with women. And I've always been a big dude, and a significant amount of women like bigger guys.

I've fluctuated from fat to muscular...210-280 at my heaviest.... But the weight imo really didn't change much.. I've had chicks flat out tell me they liked me when I was heavier. And vice versa....

So I don't think I've ever kicked it with a chick who said some shit like she's not into looks.

I've kicked it with a quite a few non cute girls though. I think for a chick to openly like me, she deserves some attention in return... So even if she wasn't cute to me, if she liked me and wanted to spend time with me, I've always been willing to give it a run to see if I could fuck with it before just making a decision off of looks alone.

That's why I always defended Leslie Jones... If a funny ass chick like Leslie Jones wanted to kick it with me, I would 100% chill with her, cuz I'm positive it would be good vibes. And after a few drinks who knows where things could go

I didn't out tell her that. She saw a few of my past flings and made the comment, that she don't look like she's my type. I just laughed it off and said, "yea you are" (lied), you have a beautiful mind

That would instill confidence back into her that I could see leaving her.
