Right now I would say no. Give him another decade in the game and the way he’s going I would change that statement, especially since Spike ain’t made anything worthwhile in a moment.

As far as the Box Office goes, Coogler has decimated Spike.

If you compared all the movies that Spike has ever directed, produced, written, or acted in, the total worldwide earnings were between 1.8 and 1.9B

Coogler earned more than 2B off the two Black Panther movies alone.

If you're talking about quality of the movies, that's more subjective. I've enjoyed Coogler's more, but that's because he's made more movies in genres I like.
