Threw in the purple tape to stunt
I want a copy of the purple tape for the archives.

Very solid album. Platinum and very replayable. Though I deemed it not a classic it DID generate a significant buzz!

Been working on my music collection for a min, I'm still waiting to increase my library alil more before I buy a bookcase for it.
I been peeping ya pick-ups!!!
I have hella cds like three books worth.. I mostly get things for the hard drive these days. Trying to be a minimalist with cds...BUT when I properly get another man cave I want certain tapes to frame #TapeArt...that purple tape is one.

goldie...focus

lets start with this site...how many times, before this thread, have YOU called Harlem World a classic

What type of dumb ass logic is this.

Cuz there isn't a thread about this album every other week, means it ain't a classic?

There ain't a number of threads about 400 Degrees either, but I bet if the thread was made it wouldn't stop you from calling it a classic, if you believed it is one.

your logic is flawed b/c literally every time we have these discussions, i name 400 as a classic album

im consistent with that

i hadnt no heard ANYONE put a mase album as a classic until this "beef"

No, the logic itself is stupid.

Because X album isn't brought up enough, it raises an eyebrow to be considered classic?

again...personal classic and consensus classic arent the same

I dont view and album like Chronic 2001 as a classic, but the general consensus is that it is...ok. I thought it was a very good album from the intro to the middle of the album, but the second half wasnt as satisfying as the first half. Do i think its wack? no. Do i think its a classic album. no. But that doesnt mean its not a good album.

I view 400 degreez as a personal classic and its considered by many to be a classic album, but a lot of people still dont get it and never will understand the impact of 400 Degreez. And we can agree to disagree on that, but one thing im not gon allow is for it to be called wack, b/c wack it is not.

out of all the discussions on here and the IC, up until recently, dudes was not putting Harlem World in their top 5-10 albums consistently.

For every "goldie" that might put it as a classic album, there were 10 dudes who didnt even mention it.
