smh, i kind of forgot about this album. I had this album playing almost everyday in highschool after i discovered it. This album and Word.. Life are so fucking fire. Love the intro to this album too.
 
The production on that album is incredible.

O.C. can hold his own on the mic, but he can't carry an album by himself imo.

I like him better in DITC rather than solo.

He's like certain Wu Tang members, or Boot Camp Click members, or Dogg Pound members. They sound dope in a posse jam, but can't carry a whole album.

There's a lot of MCs like that. They can make a hit record and/or shine on a posse jam, but they can't carry an album by themselves.
 
Unrelated to this album, but the album OC did with Apollo Brown is also incredibly fire. OC has such a simple flow compared to most rappers, but it works perfectly for a majority of the beats he gets.

Some of DJ Premiers best work on this album too imo. Couple dope Buckwild joints. I think Buckwild is underrated AF as a producer. Doesnt get the props he deserves. Im not aware of much he did outside of DITC though and that one Celph Titled album of old beats.
