I like lupe and he is a better lyricist by far. But Jeezy was a whole movement at the time. The production and hooks made up for the lyrical gap. So based on 101 having 10x the impact I gotta go with Jeezy
 


You couldn't go anywhere without someone bumping that Thug Motivation 101. Probably the greatest album that you can play in the club. Back to back street anthems on it. In 05' Jeezy came to take the game like John Madden

Facts bruh!!!! You couldn't go anywhere without niccas bumping that album. Especially out east, niccas used to pull up to gas station, bumping Thug Motivation. Right smack in the middle of the car culture. My brother stayed in the Westside in 05' and they played the hell out of it too

I used to work with Nori Nori (from Power 94) brother. That fool played that album all day in 05'. Those mid 2000s were some of the greatest of all-time times
 
i voted Lupe

but i can't front on TM101. i was in college and had just got the system in the whip. i played the fuck outta this album

i still think F&L is better, i play it way more over my lifetime, but can't even really be mad Wasulu is losing...

Food & Liquor was my shit when it dropped. I anticipated that album for well over a year. Didn’t appreciate TM101 till years later. I’m not mad at it advancing but I prefer Food & Liquor personally.
