If the two are on at the same time, I'll watch Coming to America more often than Godfather 2. I really gotta be in the mood to watch any of The Godfather movies. And it's not because they're mob dramas, 'cause I'll watch Goodfellas or Casino over Coming To America every time.
Long slow moving movies like The Godfather are like a vintage cars, its a piece of art and great when youre in the mood for a scenic drive but a pain in the ass to actually take out and drive as you gotta take the cover off, warm the engine, change the oil and put up with rattles and no mod cons etc then when you get back pack them away again...
Goodfellas, Coming To America are like modern cars, you just gotta jump in and go for a reliable ride to the shops and back...
Yeah I know I sound crazy...
