Never had that happen on flixtor.id. there's 4 servers to choose from for each movie/show. I remember @Inori saying something similar to what you mentioned but I think he was using a different flixtor site.

Flixtor.to I think is the main site and you’ll get the servers full warning quite often. Plus you can’t play anything > 6 months old if you’re not VIP.
I think the .id site is a clone or something and bypasses those gates.
