I made a beat back around December '05/January of '06 that sampled a Willie Hutch song and uploaded it to my Soundclick page. Cat from AZ wanted the beat for his mixtape so I let him get on the two track of it. At the same time, I was posting it to various other production websites just lettin' cats check my shit out and to get feedback, plus hopefully a placement out of it 'cause there's always rappers on those boards. In 2008 Kool G Rap's album "Half a Klip" comes out. The very first song on that album, "Risin Up" used the exact same sample I used but threw a coupla drum sounds over it. The shit sounded just like my shit to the point where cats were hittin me up like "yoooooooo, that new Kool G shit sounds like your shit!".

In 2009 some cat came across my version of the beat on Soundclick and came at Domingo over it on yet another producers/hip hop site he was known to frequent. Dude said I was the one that jacked his shit and was trying to make it as if I was frontin' like I had made it. Dude that confronted Domingo hit me up on still another forum I was a regular on and I told him what was up, he took my response to Domingo and Domingo swore he had never heard my beat when he did "Risin' Up" and said it was all just a coincidence (*eyeroll*).

I don't want to say it WAS a coincidence, because dude was known to frequent message boards back then, but the main reason I had let it go was because I had made a beat way back in '94 that was very similar to Redman's "Creepin", only that beat had never been sent out or heard by anyone outside of niggas in my crew.
