When I copy and paste an Instagram link through the actual IG app, the link doesn't show up properly. However if I am using my browser and copy and paste the link it embeds properly and you can view from here.

Nah I'm serious. I was looking at blaffy's link, and it had reel in it but when I followed the link which opens up through my browser not the actual app, the link I copied from following that link turned the REEL to a 'p', like @Inori was trying to say. So then I went to the app and yes the link you copy from there has REEL in the link which means, like you said, won't post here.

I think I figured out a way to post videos and reels from Instagram to here

You copy the Reels link



And you get this
