This is about as bad as when I found out Kit Kat comes in different flavors in Japan.

Them niggas got sweet potato flavored Kit Kat. Chesnut, Strawberry, orange, green tea, and a grip of others too.
Yep, the original KitKat company had an agreement with Hershey to distribute under license in U.S. They also had a deal with some Japanese company that would distribute under license in Japan. Meanwhile the OG company, ran its own distribution throughout Europe and everywhere else. Then some time later they sold the OG company to Nestle. Nestle started introducing a few new flavors everywhere but America, because they couldn't get out of the licensing distribution deal that the OG company made with Hershey. Nestle even managed to buy out the company that held the licensed distribution for the KitKat brand in Japan. Nestle has global control everywhere except in the U.S. and everywhere gets assorted flavors except the U.S., but Japan still dominates by far, in variety of flavors compared to any other country.
