Sometimes being the hero means saving the villain.
Debating watching this. Anyone ever seen this?

Funny Games (1997) is a disturbing Austrian psychological thriller directed by Michael Haneke, about two polite but sadistic young men who take a family hostage in their vacation home, subjecting them to psychological torture and violence, all while breaking the fourth wall to address the audience. The film is known for its extreme violence, bleak tone, and commentary on media violence, with the antagonists, Paul and Peter, directly interacting with the viewers.

I've seen the og but not the American version. It's a pretty fucked up movie. The same director did both movies and I heard the American version is basically a shot for shot remake of the original. I got a long weekend starting tomorrow, ill probably check out the American one while im home.

I like fucked up movies. So I wanna give this a spin, but it's WrestleMania weekend. And I know I'll forget if I don't make a thread

the director also did another movie thats on hbo max that was pretty messed up. It was called Michaels Video, or something like that. About a kid who is obsessed with making videos and he invites a girl over and kills her and records it. then his parents find out and they try helping him hide it all
