Friday Night Smackdown - 6/5

Between the 5 hour Dynasty PPV and the fallout after, and the uneventfulness of WWE's shows... I'm drained from wrestling. I might skip everything else til WM. Way too busy next week for this bullshit.

Aye…I feel you. I took 3 weeks off from watching both AEW & WWE. I watched Dynasty without catching the buildup and did the same with going to Smackdown tonight.

im hearing that there might be more added but idk if its gone be another tag match

Are the New Day the only brotha's on the Mania card?
 
There’s 13 matches & if they add one it’ll be Randy / Solo & it’ll go back to 14 like it was before KO got hurt.

Pretty wild to not have the Profits on here. Especially since they’ve booked the Smackdown tag titles significantly better than the raw ones. Better not lose to MCMG next week cause….

I thinkt hey gonna fuck around and add them to it honestly

idk if it was in the plans already and they just doing this shit to work people up over it not being announced yet or if it gets added because they see everybody questioning why its not a match on the card

but I feel it might its a chance it gets added now

that new day/war raiders match can go on the pre-show in favor of it since it dont have as much of a build

i saw somebody saying there will be a match on Friday and maybe interference leading to it turning into a multi man match on the actual card and i can see it

It just doesnt make sense that they somehow have left the Profits and the SD tag titles off the show. I would have thought for sure Hunter would have made sure the Profits and MCMG made the card. Profits made the card last year having to carry Kross and AOP lol they are champs this time around. And I dont see them having a match the night before Mania and coming back a day or two later for a multi-man. But what I will say tho is that it feels kinda telegraphed that they'll come out of this still tag champs cause it looks like they are setting up a feud with.... Melo Dont Miz. Not entirely sure where that will lead but my hot take is that Melo & Miz will win the tag titles... at some point


SD last nite was actually not a bad show; I been sayin wtf are they doing with Santos and the Garzas for weeks now and at the very least it seems like theres something brewing. I seen someone suggest they should do with Humberto what AEW is doing with Kyle Fletcher & thought that would be a great idea. They need to start making new / younger stars or at least people who you can build as key role players. The Tiffany / Charlotte stuff stays hot coming off the heels of last week. Only meh stuff was the prospects of Randy vs Solo at Mania. Kinda felt like they should have just made Randy go through an open challenge where they debut Miro or Black.

The one match that needed a multi man stipulation was the tag title match. Yeah we had a multi team tag match last year, but they could've used a different stip like a gauntlet or a elimination table match or something.

yea they should of been a top priority when it came to who got a spot on the card. When they let them win the straps on a random SD overseas instead of at the show of all shows i was already looking at that shit side ways though. I was just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. I see where they trying to set up the program w/ them and Melo Dont Miz tho. I could see it playing out w/ them taking the straps too eventually

I need to go back and run SD. I like that they are doing shit w/ Los Garzas finally and Santos its just its been a slow ass process. I feel like they gonna fuck around and start doing what they said they would do when it moved to 3 hrs which is focus on younger stars but by the time they get it going itll be time for it to go back down to 2
