LA Knight debuted as a manager during the dark match that took place prior to WWE Friday Night SmackDown.

Knight managed former Retribution member Mace. Prior to the match, Knight cut a promo on behalf of his client and he stated that he was creating a stable called Knight Model Management.

As seen in the photo below, Knight was dressed in a suit and Mace’s look was also updated. This is Mace’s first match since the 11/21 episode of SmackDown where he wrestled in the Black Friday battle royal. WWE has not done much with Mace since Retribution broke up over a year ago but this appears to be an attempt to repackage him.

It works for where there at now..

It's up to him to keep it going, cuz with Sheamus and the new day.... They're effectively putting him over with the crowd ... Everybody is in to this match.

It's up to him to run with it and keep the momentum 🤷🏿‍♂️
