COMMUNITY French Toast eaters.... C'mere

I always used milk cause it would soak into the bread more and give it more texture.

Tf yall need crunchy french toast for anyway.
 
Milk was used back in the day to stretch out the eggs cuz they were feeding a family of 10 and cant be using a dozen eggs

You're not putting alot of milk in it though.

You can most definitely leave the milk out (i've done it) but a little bit of milk doesn't change the consistency a ton. It does change it but not a ton.

I hate a soft soggy french toast

Get thick bread and don't leave it in the batter too long. If you leave it in the batter too long instead of a quick flip on both sides it's gonna soak up a ton of the liquid. Lol.

I've seen folks leave it in the batter which is why it's soggy.
