A Twitter user caught the attention of French Montana after going viral with a Squid Game-themed post, which was titled, "For the next game, you need to name FIVE French Montana songs without features."

French responded, naming off 14 of his solo singles, including early tracks like "Shot Caller" and "Ain't Worried About Nothin'." He then added, "Now eat a d*ck. I'm droping [sic] a solo track this week."

While French recently scored another hit with the remix of Soulja Boy's monster hit, "She Make it Clap," his list proved that he's gotten far in his lengthy music career on his own merit. French even stated last year that he feels he can go "neck to neck" with Kendrick Lamar.

French explained to Complex News' Speedy Morman, "I mean, honestly, I could go against anybody. You could put somebody like Kendrick Lamar next to me on the same stage at a festival. I might outshine him... not because I'm a better rapper or whatever it is. It's just that I got more hits. Kendrick Lamar got albums. He got masterpieces. But if you was to put us on the festival stage, I would outshine him because I have more hits than Kendrick Lamar."

French Montana is continuing to remind people about his success over his lengthy career after a viral tweet suggested that he only has hits with songs he's featured on. After listing 14 of his solo hits on Tuesday (October 26), French took to Twitter yet again to point out that people "got amnesia" when it comes to his career.

He wrote, "THEY GOT AMNESIA LIKE I DIDNā€™t GIVE THEM THAT 'HAANNNNN.'" French then pointed to the artists that he helped put on, including Lil Durk, Harry Fraud, and the late Chinx Drugz. Listing more accolades, French listed his and Swae Lee's track "Unforgettable" going diamond and his successful Coke Boys series. You can read more above.
Are these tweets gonna be the lyrics to his new song?

THEY GOT AMNESIA/THEY GOT TO DO THEIR HOMEWORK
THEY GOT AMNESIA/FORGOT WHEN IT WAS ALL BIRDS

Its feels weird telling someone to be content, but he achieved a lot for the skill set he brought to the table. You'd think he'd be happy with that.

Asking the world to revere him as a solo artist, hell nah

The whole damn twitter rant up top has himself anchoring a bunch of his catalog to other acts lmao.

Whatā€™s yā€™all favorite French Montana verse

:hahaha:

ā€œHomie, I just lost my only paper, back to square one
Feel like misery is my only neighbor
They say God protect us
I don't know why I feel safer with a burner
Getting high got me locked up in the prison, smelling like last night
Why people sell their soul for the fast life?
Nobody loves us
And they tell us go fight for the flag, but don't fight for them colors
Watch some television, have you baptized and your brain washed
What to wear, where to live, what to do when a friend is a friend with a motive
Them broke plans, have a nigga down, feeling hopeless
Hoping I can make mills before I lay on my back
On the block where a million niggas flipping packs
Grabbing my leg
Feel like crabs in the bucket, can't get aheadā€

MONTANA!!!

If for nothing French Montana is a legend because he was on bad boy and actually got paid

in fact he is most likely the most financially successful artist in bad boy history

His best joint to me was with raekwon and neyo it was an ice cream flip. His flip knocked a little better than my own flipšŸ˜’šŸ˜’

At one point artistry and musicianship were revered

once the commercialization happened tho

It still is, which is why cats like Primo, Dre, Pete Rock, Dilla, Jazzy Jeff and 'nem get praise for their production work and true lyricists are heralded for their rhyme skills.

The problem is that, just like Jazz, you have a fanbase that's dedicated to that artistry but the general public is more interested in easily digestable forms of the music. In the same way that Yanni and David Sanborn represent that "easily digestible" Jazz, the current crop of commercial rap represents the easily digestible form of hip hop.

I just checked the RIAA Gold and Platinum stats on dude. He got a 9x platinum single??? Where the fuck was I when this happened???

I can't think of a single French Montana joint I've ever heard and I got one of his old mixtapes sittin' on this very laptop I'm typing this shit on (Mac N Cheese 3).

Dude is the most successful unknown ass artist of all time.
