The two brothers at the center of Jussie Smollett’s criminal trial faced brutal cross-examinations on Thursday as they were painted as homophobic, drug-dealing opportunists who had a history of lying and intended to hurt the actor.

Abimbola Osundairo, 28, was grilled for two hours by Smollett’s attorney Shay Allen, who alleged that he and the “Empire” actor had previously dated and had masturbated together at a gay bathhouse and that the attack was fueled by a desire to be the actor’s security guard.

Olabinjo Osundairo, 30, was questioned on past homophobic comments he made and admitted he used such derogatory terms toward men he “suspected” were gay.

On Wednesday, Abimbola had told jurors that he and Smollett had gone to the Steamworks bathhouse together in Chicago’s Boystown neighborhood, a predominantly gay community, and on Thursday, Allen asked if gay pornography was played on the televisions inside the spa.

“I don’t recall,” Abimbola said.

“You don’t recall seeing gay pornography? . . . You don’t remember masturbating with him?” Allen asked.

Abimbola said, “No.”

Multiple Yelp reviews for the bathhouse indicate pornography is played at the spa, which is outfitted with numerous “glory holes” and “hook-up rooms.”

Attempting to cast Abimbola as a homophobe, Allen mentioned that homosexuality is illegal in Nigeria, where the brothers have strong ties, and claimed Abimbola had called someone on the set of “Empire” a “f- - - -t.”

I think I said it when the story first broke, but you know how the whole thing started to unravel?


By making it a homophobic attack instead of a racial attack.


It might've been somewhat believable if a group of Magas just attacked a random black man for no reason, but to say that they specifically targeted a gay black man?

But whoever orchestrated this couldn't help themselves and just had to push this narrative about the LGBT community being under attack.


Then when you throw the Nigerian brothers into the mix......and this new twist about one of them being a scorned closeted gay bf...........gay bathhouses......glory holes............him and Jussie masturbating to gay porn in the bathhouse............

You ask this question as if there's no obvious answer to it. They did it to have concrete proof maga is racist and homophobic, so they could insure trump gets out and push legislation faster. It was a good faith hoax but like @deadeye said they fucked up by forcing the homophobic angle..
