Fragrance thread

Like @AP4.0 I went abit mental this year lol

Just had a look and think I bought about 22 fragrances, including a couple back ups, also seems I went a little less niche and more designer this year too...

One of my nephews bought me nice gift for Christmas, a fragrance by 1667 (honey tobacco) who I'd never heard of before but its pretty nice so I included that too...

What fragrance did you wear the most?

Mostly samples but think I also used my Eau Sauvage EdT or Terre d'Hermes FBs from 2024 the most, as I use them for work too...

What fragrance was your biggest dud?

Hmm think I'll end up giving my Encre Noire A'L'Extreme away as its too strong...

Top 5 bottles of the year?

Chanel Allure (vintage)
Chanel Pour Monsieur Concetree (vintage)
House of Puente Chyprelia
House of Puente Eaden
Prada Ambre Homme (vintage)

What you looking to purchase in 2026?

I really wanna get hold of vintage YSL Pour Homme EdT and YSL Pour Homme EdP but not sure that will happen the way prices are going...

What you looking to purchase in 2026?

So far I got my eye on Cedrus from Chloe's private line and I finished my dupe of MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold, so I'm going to pull the trigger on the real deal...

Ngl, most of my splurge money went to kicks this year. I think I only copped 4 bottles this year.

MVP: Old Fashioned

Runner Up: Acqua Di Gio Profundo edp

Dud: Got a bottle of Versace Eros Flame last Christmas.. mid. I still got a full bottle if anybody wants it.

Next on my list: Bleu de Chanel exclusif

Started the year off right...

Caught this Terre d'Hermes Intense gift set in the sales for £80... Great time to get some deals on Christmas gift sets!!!

I really love the coffee note in this, reminds me of a sunny vacation breakfast, when you have both a glass of orange juice and a fresh coffee with your breakfast...

Comme de Garsons Avignon is from their incense series, which is 'based on the spiritual rituals and sacred places of major world religions'... Avignon which is by far my favourite from the series is based on Catholicism, which they nail... It really does smell like an old church, its cold, dry and dusty, which doesnt sound inviting but its incredible lol

Kyoto which is based on Buddhism and Shintoism is my second favourite, would like to pick that up at somepoint too...

Then picked up a a couple vintages... A backup of one of my favourites, a discontinued PUIG made Prada Amber Pour Homme and Lanvin's Aprege Pour Homme, which kicks off with vanilla and tonka bean, though its not overly sweet... theres a fresh peppery spicy kick throughout and the sandalwood makes it nice and buttery, Im sure theres some leather in there too... Its a great winter fragrance, I got through my miniature this Christmas and had to find a full bottle!!!

went to Ulta looking to finally smell the spicebomb that came out last year I think. It wasnt there. Ended up smelling Summer Mink and Jean Paul "Le Beau"

my kinda scents

I need to do a better job of managing my inventory lol

I've bought clones of clones twice now

Or rather I've bought the same cloned scent from two different clone houses😂

Might just keep them at work for when I'm running late and can't spray before I leave the house

I'm still looking for that class jpg scent. I don't know what it's called and my googles didn't give me what I was looking for

Man I really wish there were black owned beauty supply stores I could support

Just left one that was run by some Arabian dudes. He tried to sell me a clone for double the price it is on Amazon talking about it's from Dubai

Buzzing to have picked up this discontinued Opium Pour Homme flanker, 'Eau d'Orient'...

Its suppose to be a 'fresher' take on Opium Pour Homme, though its defo not a freshie or one to wear in heat lol Its gorgeous though, real deep, spicy and rich...

Got my dukes a vintage sealed Opium for Mother's Day...

Thought I got a deal, opened it and was faced with 1/3 of juice missing!!!

It's about 35 years old, so it's always a risk buying really vintage fragrance.

I did a little dilly dallying and picked up a couple things that were not on my to buy list for Spring. I found both Chloe Nomade and NR Poudree on clearance at Nordstrom Rack. Also picked up this dupe for Bvlgari Baciami at Burlington. For some reason I thought Baciami was $300+ for the 50ml, but it's not so I may pass this on to my goddaughter and buy the real deal.

Sorted out my fragrances into some kind of size and winter to summer order, ended up storing them in my old sneaker box...

Left out my samples and vintage miniatures though...

Finally got my dukes a full bottle for mothers day... So shes got 1.75 bottles now lol

Another sealed bottle but a Sanofi version from 1998, rather than the older Parfum Corps era...

Its not quite as deep and rich as the Parfum Corps bottle but still a gorgeous scent and true Opium, unlike the later Gucci and then L'Oreal era versions which were butchered...
