Foreigners in America for the World Cup reacting to American stuff for the first time

Bet money that waffle house post was someone from the UK. One of their best foods is fish and chips. They mastered basic. I can see why they would travel across the pond for truck stop food. They also did it at 1am, so they also wanted to eat and see a fight.

I've been seeing this kinda stuff all over my timeline and reels for the last few days. It's kinda crazy to see how much of a difference there is between how they live and how we live and what we take for granted.

Yo, I actually would watch a show just about foreigners going to Waffle Houses after 1am. That shit would be glorious. lol

On the real though, Canadians might be able to understand America a little, but it's gotta be hard for Europeans to understand America. They try to compare it to their country and don't really get its more comparable to the whole EU.

I didn't realize until today.

This is actually pretty interesting to me. Tourists come to America from other countries all the time, so I was a little confused by all these videos with people acting like America is Wakanda and just opened up to outsiders last week. It didn't really occur to me that most tourists really only visit like 10-15 places in this country. With this World Cup, many of the tourists are seeing places more representative of what America is on average. I can see how some of this stuff might be surprising.

Bruh, I seriously wonder what an Italian would think about an Italian cold cut, extra hots from Royal's around my way...

Shit is a goat sandwich... But I wonder if your average Italian would approve 🧐

From what I've seen, people from other countries like good examples of Americanized versions of their food, but they don't really recognize it as being their food if that makes sense.

It's sort of like how people from Philly don't accept any cheesesteak as being a Philly if it doesn't come from Philly, but they still can acknowledge that some other cheesesteaks are good.
