In one part he said some shit like every quarter he has a sit down with his financial ppls and they have to show him where every dollar is coming and going and it has to make sense

I know, thats what the outside company audits and checks to see where things really went or are coming in. They arnt just taking a print out or screen shot as proof. They're comparing company records and asking banks or vendors to send proof of their records. Scammers take off running with whatever they got if they know auditors from a respectable company are coming.

I heard of this stuff happening before to wealthy clients that dont do this. The scammers literally just type up shit on word and print it out showing them phony numbers. Then tell them yea, look how much money you are making and they eat it up as proof like no one can fake numbers.
