The proverbial "Florida Man" strikes again with yet another boneheaded criminal act. According to reports, 27-year-old Herbert McClellan was arrested after allegedly stealing a scratch-off from a convenience store and tried cashing the ticket at the same place later the same day.
Police say McClellan stole a total of 13 tickets and immediately tried to see if any were winners. When he found one of the tickets was worth $30, McClellan returned to the store to claim the winnings. However, the staff immediately called the police, and McClellan was arrested. He was charged with petit theft and dealing in stolen property and is being held on a $12,000 bond.
