OUT NOW Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

I was obsessed with that shit, I can’t hold you.

Until I got towards the end and some of the matches were “no random way to win”… you had to specifically play certain cards in certain spots or FOH. Kinda ruined it for me.

In the grand scheme of the game it don’t mean shit, but if they made a mobile app of it, I’d probably play the shit out of it

How do you play it cause even watching the tutorial I'm still lost on that shit. And did yall complete all the objectives before fighting the final boss?

It depends. The further along you go, they start adding rules and stipulations, and cards function in ways that initially just don’t make sense.

In the beginning it’s like a mix of tic tac toe and checkers. You just want your cards in any row to equal more points than their cards in that row. And certain cards can only be played on spots with the correct power level

But it eventually gets more complicated. You can destroy their cards or have yours destroyed, to reopen that spot… you can have card values reduced.

Certain cards have modifiers on them that give you points for destroying their cards… and eventually get multiplier cards that give you a fuck ton of points for letting your opponent destroy your cards or even by destroying your own shit yourself.

It can’t really be boiled down and explained, you really just have to keep playing til you get an understanding and develop strategies on your own. Which makes it fun.

But that’s also why the “end bosses” of the card games fall off for me, because at that point it’s not about skill, it’s more of a puzzle that only has one right answer.
