Poland got their ass kicked in a scrimmage with Senegal.

Supposedly Sochan didn’t look that good. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Hopefully he plays well in the tournament, doesn’t get hurt, and actually takes and makes some 3’s. He has been posting videos of his new shooting form.

Hot take, I feel like sochan has never displayed that he’s a good basketball player in any setting since being drafted

His development has been weird from the whole point Sochand debacle to trying him as a small ball five which really didn't work either....his best position is the 4 but he doesn't shoot it well enough

When he’s not hurt he’s shooting 68% FT and 30% from three

I maintain that he’s a poor shooting poor man’s Draymond

And that’s actually fine imo but drafting a role player 9th overall has to sting

even worse than that, sochan doesn’t even project as a starter long term

It’s difficult to argue in his favor.

Defensively he is pretty versatile, but still a bit flawed. Offensively it’s even worse. I think he did show that he is better off ball and finished better at the rim last season.

I’m hoping that the open jumper comes around because that could make him a really solid NBA player.

I really liked him pre draft but to this day he been kinda a let down for me

But it’s not like it’s hopeless
