FIBA/International Basketball Discussion

Bro Japan was up 4 with like 10 secs left

Going from that to losing in OT by like 8 got me furious

All because some ref wanted French citizenship

I was keeping up with the game while at work.

I feel bad for Japan

Wemby played well and powered his team to victory though. Happy for him and his teammates.

Hope Brazil gets some more NBA talent soon

Oh you know what? Tristan Da Silva will be on this team soon if he wants

I've always felt like Brazil should have a better and more prominent program

I know they had a good run with the Nene, Barbara, Splitter, Varejao years......but for as big and diverse of a country it is it should be further along than what it is....however I do understand soccer is king of there too

Yes yes this was my exact thought process

I thought about the barbosa, nene, splitter, varejao era and the same thing about the size of the country but I was like but futbol is life so I can’t be mad at it

Personally I want countries like Puerto Rico, DR, Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil to start building better basketball pipelines but soccer is king

Australia/NZ got established
Africa got established
France is currently taking over

I want Asia and South America to start pumping out product
