Fetty legit moved back to the hood and if my memory is correct, his reasoning was he felt uncomfortable in the nice area cuz most people didnt know who he was, and in the hood everyone knew him. Basically dude loved being by far the richest person in the area. And we all know what that comes with, gotta pay the wolves so they dont bite you. After a while that adds up and he's looking to make a quick come up since his music isnt selling anymore. Then dirty street niggas get him to fund their bullshit.
