It's so weird to me that so many people dislike black licorice.

My dad loves it and shares w my youngest son, I don’t get how they like it... the smell alone is off-putting but I’ve given it a try every now and then to see if it’s any good, if I’ll eventually like it and it’s disgusting every time. My kids got a jelly bean game called Beanboozled, it has jelly bean flavors that are good and awful....

so you either get peach or vomit, or marshmallow or baby wipes, mint or fresh cut grass etc and the black flavors are black licorice or skunk, both are a lose-lose but I’d rather have black licorice any day of the week over skunk, skunk was the absolute most horrible thing I’ve ever tasted in my life...

I couldn’t shake the taste for days.
