nah, you could actually gather that from the movie....even the real Michael Oher said he didnt like the way they told the story

but just as a casual viewer you gotta be sitting there in your feelings for that shit to really bother you

its a movie......white people have saved the day in movies our whole lives for "cinematic" reasons

and its not some rich folks teachin a kid from the hood to use a shrimp fork kinda thing

its vaguely about a white family that took in a prospective college athlete and helped him thru school, possibly for their own future gain......which aint outlandish at all
