It was the way he was called out that he took issue with. It was just "nah thats exaggerated". Thats why he specifically mentioned the FBA's on social media. They've been coming at him the hardest and saying all sorts of wild shit in general. There's always a line and to Fat Joe his was crossed in the way him and other folks was being spoken about.

That doesn't really help his case though. He's letting a feud with a certain segment of black people that live for this kinda thing ruin whatever good will he had built up with the rest of the black community. It can't be that serious.
Ehh...he's not ruining it because for the most part right now alot of the FBA stuff is online. If it was actually going to affect his legacy in hip hop then you'd see more of a backlash from people within hip hop and thats not happening. Truth be told, because of alot of their rhetoric aimed af Fat Joe and some others they've made themselves a group some don't take seriously enough for this to have any real tangible impact.

Man, the fuck is wrong with you. It has been said over and over that these FBA peeps been saying all kinds of shit about non-American blacks, especially Africans. I and others have reposted some of it here. They say Africans are ugly, low IQ, imply that they are uncivilized. One was even saying they can't grow Afros. That is a big part of why they get so much negative attention. That is what Fat Joe is talking about.

We are just focus on the USA.
How many Africans were brought here to the U.S. and during what time frame? Your estimate? And where did they come from, what part of Africa??
Also, you stated when the slaves were freed in 1865, were all 2-4 million of these black slaves "Africans" since you are indicating that all the slaves are majority of them all came from Africa and if so, what tribe were these individual Africans or now free slaves from??
Also, how many slaves were here, population wise in the US? From 1700-1800.
I was taught that it was millions of millions slaves brought here in the US from Africa
What year did the US put a halt on slave trafficking?
From 1865 - 1965 how many Africans were in the United States??
Why are there more FBAs 43 million, which doesnt include black immigrants in the United States than they are black immigrants in 2025??
If all or majority of the slaves brought here to the US were Africans and came from Africa and if there were no black ppl already in the US before slavery as the tweet suggested, wouldn't it make sense that there would be more Africans in the US than FBAs in the year 2025?

You can trash those FBA cats all you want. They aren't wrong in this case when they point out how non-African Americans like to try and co-opt shit that are largely African American creations.
Remember Busta got called out over this too, but he didn't decide to double down on it like Joe.

Anyway, from what I understand it's less than 400,000. Perhaps a little more if you include those brought from the West Indies after they were shipped to the islands from Africa. In any case, it's just a few hundred thousands, not millions. Anyone saying millions don't know what they're talking about.
Slaves flourished reproductively in North America. In Central America, South America and the West Indies, on the other hand, they died in the millions and in any case did not reproduce themselves.
