this is a tough one to say because ultimately I don't know the procedure for flights and situations like this.
some were saying where was the air marshall or proper restraints on board? if that's the policy to have this and they didn't either have it or use it, then it looks foul on the airline and its staff

but ultimately dude was wyling out and the safety of all on board including staff takes precedent so what needed to happen need to I guess

Fair. Unruly passengers is a danger to everybody else, especially in a situation where there is no exit options. After 9/11, people not taking any chances with people that act up. The whole plane will turn on you so it’s best to shut up, sit down and enjoy the ride
