OK I had a second listen, Im feeling the album more than I thought... I was abit quick to dismiss the album, I heard his voice and flow on a couple (sample) tracks and automatically shut it down... After a proper listen it was better than I thought, imo the'Stepping Stone' flow was pretty close to the old Em...

But with this album here I think he has a new/fresher topic, calling people out who said his last album(s) where weak and saying he was washed up etc and trying to prove a point...

MMLP2 was awful. As bad as Revival. Recovery was pop crap and Relapse was good sonically but those accents and that subject matter ruined what cudda been a decent effort.

This album is his beat since Eminem Show by a distance imo. I'd give it 6/7 outta 10

Encore was the beginning of the slump and he took a long break after that.

I appreciated this album, I'ma give it a 7/10 cause the flows, bars, concepts, vibe, were all on point.

Just alot of the hooks, and I'm not a hook guy, but some of the hooks made me skip the song once the hook started.

Relapse is like a movie that's good but you don't watch often. Something like The Revenant. The content (horror) isn't something i could listen to daily, but it still had the old Eminem sound. His flows weren't forced, he still had his sense of humor, storytelling was top notch, dre production, no yelling, etc.
