Elon Musk Purchases Twitter for $41.39 billion, Elon becomes first person ever to lose $200 Billion Dollars

Lol Elon is proving why private ownership of a monopoly as vital and as influential as Twitter to speech and information is a bad idea. Instead of de-politicizing Twitter, he accelerates it and ramps it up Instead of stabilizing Twitter, he throws it into chaos.

Lol but you know, the USA government hasn't been active in breaking up these information monopolies or setting regulation and guidance for them out in the open for years.

Now we have a demagogue billionaire in control of a platform that has 396 million users and he's just making up shit as he goes because he can.

And in reality, this is how all companies operate lol, we just never seen anybody do it in the open and flex their power in the open.

Hopefully people learn that there's nobody sane at the wheels of capitalism and that every company is one bad owner away from being ruined.
Quick correction, this is not how all companies operate, especially those as large as Twitter.

Public companies are regulated by the SEC and their shareholders. Most private companies this large have a Board of Directors and shareholders to answer to.

This is a mainly unique situation because one man got rich enough to outright buy a large company he had no idea how to run. At least not the way it looks now.

This here was always the worry with Elon buying twitter. Its not about should impersonators be banned or shit. I actually dont think this is a bad idea.

The issue is that, he decided it was wrong. He initiated a new policy. No board. No process. Just the decision of one man that this is wrong. That sets a scary precedent.
This shouldnt be a surprise, he's been literally doing this for years but has only been held accountable a few times. Tesla has been a shit show for a min, but his stans buying a bunch of stock covers up almost all the bullshit.
