Caught the first one on HBO last year late one night. Highly pissed I didn't see it in the movies. I'm in there first night for the sequel though.

Never read the books but saw the 1st movie in IMAX. Absolutely stunning visuals but the script was mid. I was also mad that none of the IMAX scenes came out on home video release.

That said I'll watch part 2 in the theater

I agree about the script but I forgave it based on the visuals and actors.
