Matter of fact, let's settle the debate right now. These are Ye/Just/Bink beats before Blueprint

Ye

Just

Bink

The drums, the sample style, the arrangements... who's copying who? And my fam still owe Just a beatdown for putting his name on Live Your Life and not paying my bro what he owes.

On what album did BINK and Just Blaze lay the ground work for soul sampling? The Dynasty? The Blueprint? Help me understand what you saying breh.
Dynasty.
Bink only produced 2 songs on that album lol....blaze did most of the album
You right, Just did 5 beats to Bink's 2... but Bink's 2 beat fit more of the format of what Jay envisioned for Blueprint. Just's beats were more gritty, Primo-esque boom bap joints... Bink's beats were smoother (he did mostly R&B). They all get equal credit, as does Ye, but Bink's DNA is all in the early 2000s Roc sound.

i meant while not why.. sorry.. I don’t believe The Dynasty kicked off Soul sampling for the rocafella era.
I'll put it like this... the album before that was Vol 3. That was mostly Timbo and Swizz, the same cats that did Vol 2. They were trying to repeat that formula, and it ended up being one of his worst albums. Jay had to switch up at that point, that's when Just, Ye and Bink came in. Dynasty was more so an experiment with his roster, with Give It To Me being picked as the single to broaden his fanbase. But the Just/Ye/Bink songs were so well received he had little choice but to use them for his next album. Without Dynasty, Jay would've been Nelly status.

Tbh I just I don't take anything Kanye says seriously. Dude clearly has a mental disorder so i think it would be unwise to treat anything he says logically because his brain ain't right. I watched majority of that interview and dude mind was all over the place on some 3 year old shit.
