Drama in Bristol: Is Rachel Nichols racist?

They didn't exactly "leave on their own accord."

If ESPN was cool with everything they were doing they would've never left.

Well, come to think of it, that applies to Jemele more than Cari.

Cari's the only one who left on her own accord.

Starting to think Jemele's influence played a role in that too.

They did. Cari turned down an extension and left. Jemele Hill asked out of her contract early and bounced. ESPN isn't the end all be all of sports media or media in general.

Thats something I like about how sports media is nowadays. ESPN is no longer the end destination for some. Former employees now have more freedom and talk about whatever they want

And you hear alot of former employees have said they wish there were as many outlets as there are now because they wouldn't have stayed at ESPN as long as they did.

Those people who said they only watch ESPN for the sports? I kinda get it. Not all the way, but I somewhat understand it now

I always understand it...it's just funny that the politics that have always been expressed by many through sports only became a problem when on air talent and athletes stopped going along to get along. So when people say they don't want politics in sports it's peak hypocrisy because politics have always been in sports. If not then we wouldn't need actual rules and laws passed to ensure certain things don't happen.

If fox sports didn't try so hard to be an ESPN clone in the beginning, who knows how much better they would be now.

Black people unfortunately are in a trap. They don't have the resources to just start a 100% black owned 24 hr cycle sports network and when they get in these gigs line ESPN, they gonna go through some fuck shit before they get to a point where they can leave and it not hurt their livelihoods

I'ma give you a nugget. EVERYTHING is on twitter lol.

You can just watch the clip instead of having to sit through the broadcast trying to see if they're gonna touch on a subject.

There is no reason to watch ESPN outside of live sports. When they got away from the lil original programming they had when we were all in college, that's when they went all in with the fuck shit.

How many morning shows do you really need?
