The moment you pull out your phone, you're doing it for likes, not because it's the right thing to do. People all over the world do shit to help one another and never pull out a phone or brag about it. When your heart is in the right place, the act itself is reward enough.

I hate when some of my peoples randomly pull their phones out and record me via IG, FB etc. I'm a confidential person. Ask first beforehand. Although, I'm going to say no. So I rather keep the phone out of it and respect their privacy
