Depends on the individual

I won't dismiss a person filming a good deed just like I won't praise a person who doesn't

A wise man once told me "even if you do the right thing for the wrong reason(s), you'll still get positive results"

so helpin someone out is righteous, doin it for show is vain but, ultimately someone got helped out

why I really can't knock it, besides I'd rather see vids like that than vids of police brutality & whatnot

What's the issue with it being for personal gain?

It doesn't negate the act for them or the person they helped. Just how you the observer accepts it
Yes it does.

I saw a YouTube guy give a homeless man 200 dollars and it got like 8 million views.

He made more on that video than he gave out. And the whole point of him making the video was so he could earn money.

Dude was already rich too so that 200 didn't even hurt him.

They're not doing it out of kindness. It's basically like those dudes who used to pay homeless people to fight so they could get views and earn money.

If y'all were down and out would you like a mf with a camera coming up to you and giving you money, labeling it "giving money to the broke and homeless"

Or would you rather they came up to you in private and handed you money?

If you are down and out, why would you be picky on how you received help? Most people don't help and the one person that does, you turn it down because someone filmed it? Doesn't make sense.

yup people year for attention/validation ole check out my sound cloud.. im coming out with a mixtape follow my cousins instagram my best friend crashed his car every little dollar helps..

then you have those look at me's that just like to say they did something and make it all about them in that respect

If I was down and out and homeless I wouldn't have Wifi to be able to see that video anyway.

If anything I'd be like "Hey I'm a famous bum,on youtube and everything.I'm broke broke,help "

See my first post; depends on the individual

it’s clownish you’re making a spectacle out of a good deed. Low standard af to be broke or homeless and having no problem someone handing you money with their phone all up in your face benefiting from your misery.
