Django/Zorro movie In The Works!

Nah blood I rep dirty jerz
I understand the spending shit.
I used to routinely drop $180-$2hunna in midtown and other comic book stores.

You make me feel better for how much I spent that day. I spent a bit more than what you posted but not too much more. The city I live now (which is smaller) has two comic shops which is great for me. Lol

Yea I had to chill tf out.
I love comics since a kid but I was spending too much and them things take up space. Now I try to narrow down shit and only buy certain stuff.

Mostly fuck with trades now

Me and you are kinda on the same wave length. Lol. But as a kid I couldn't afford them but read a friends, then got older and started collecting..

I've chilled a bit besides certain books but usually buys trades also.

I went days without eating because I'd save my lunch money to buy them

Thinking back i was a good kid, never once thought of stealing em. Probably wouldn't have been so damn skinny

What you reading these days?

I got a trade a few months back from Dark Horse comics called The life and times of Martha Washington in the 21st century. It's a pretty crazy series and honestly I checked it out because one of the comic book store guys recommended it to me. I know he most likely recommended it because I was black and grabbed the Shuri #1 comic. Lol.

None the less It was a good read.

Last week I got an Omnibus for Shang Chi

I like any new punisher trades or BP shit. Coates turned me off of bp for a minute. Niggaz must think we like seeing t'challa skruggle.
Last shits I bought were the walking dead trades and the miles morales spidey. I try to fuck with black heroes too but i don't like too much pg shit.

When I go in a shop aimless is when it's trouble. I'll buy some old trades and fuck with any good manga and basically anything that catches my eye

I've been getting the new Black Panthers and I felt bad because I wasn't really feeling how Coates was writing it also. Makes me feel better that I'm not alone. I've missed some books and gotta catch up on it to see if it's gotten better. Before and during the movie marvel started pumping out Black Panther and adjacent projects! That's smart but also kinda scary in my opinion.

A guy who worked for me went to a con and got me a custom drawn and autographed cover by Afua Richardson for World of Wakanda. I still haven't read 1 World of Wakanda book yet though. Lol. I'm a big fan of Christopher Priest interpretation of Black Panther and Hudlin's run is also cool

Plot summary from the comic:
Set several years after the events of Django Unchained, Django again pursues evil men in his role as a bounty hunter. Taking to the roads of the American Southwest, he encounters the aged and sophisticated Diego de la Vega by sheer chance. Django is fascinated by this unusual character, the first wealthy white man he's met who seems totally unconcerned with the color of his skin... and who can hold his own in a fight. Django hires on as Diego's bodyguard, and is soon drawn into a fight to free the local indigenous people from brutal servitude. Learning much from the older man (as he did from King Schultz), he discovers that slavery isn’t exclusive to his people, as he even dons the mask of Zorro in their mission of mercy!
Cool. Now I have a backstory for my django character in red dead online.
