I'm sorry @Loquacious the animated one is just heads and tails better than this one. I wanted to love it but outside of Halle and Melissa McCarthy to an extent everyone's else's performances felt wooden. The songs sounded monotone. I expected a better voice acting job from Daveed Diggs.

Damn McCarthy was a horrible Ursula. Trailer made it seem a lot better

Thought Halle was a great Ariel though. Also liked how they fixed the loophole of the contract from the animated

Should have kept the chef chasing the crab scene though
