Just finished watching this. The animation looks better than the 2019 movie but something about "live-action" lions singing that will never look right. It never reaches the emotional peaks of the original film and the songs here will not be iconic, but I liked the story. I liked how they showed how Rafiki got his walking stick, how Pride Rock came to be. Scar has always been a cowardly lion lol

Pretty much perfect review the songs are so forgettable

It should have been Mufasa who gave Scar his scar as a constant reminder of his betrayal, not him jumping in front to save Mufasa
