if its legal, I fee like human trafficking slows down

legal or not, decriminalized or not, people will sell and pay for sex... but it could lead to more safety... workers would work in brothels, tested regularly, safe sex practices, the taxes could help the city... does it slow down human trafficking? nope, I wouldn’t think so. The legalization of recreational marijuana didn’t stop illegal grows and distribution. It just kept the jails free of those who are within the law.
 
I'd say I'm all for it. However according to pretty much every report countries with legalized prostitution have higher human trafficking than countries where prostitution is illegal, that's my only concern.
 
Prostitution is a neccessary evil and victimless crime. Like weed the only reason it was ever criminalized is because the government couldn't profit off of it

There are legal brothels in Nevada, and they pay a considerable amount in taxes. Some of them make 6 figures.

Im curious... not just with this topic... but with other so called vices.. why folks take the stance of decriminalising.. but not legalising whatever vice is the topic of discussion.

why advocate for decriminalisation but not legalisation?

If it's legal you can tax it right? So why opt for decriminalisation?

I don't think prostitution should be legal because its mostly poor/desparate women who lack in education and opportunities who become prostitutes.

Punishin' these women is wrong imo just makes things worse but we shouldn't be makin' prostitution a viable career

People are a product of their times. If prostitution is legal everywhere, how long til prostitutes are on Insta makin' the life look glamorous? How long til pimpin' and all the abuse shit that comes with systems like come along.
