Caught the 11am imax

Was a messy start but once it found its pacing and the movie progressed it got so much better.

- this was a true Superman portray
- Mr.Terrific was dope
-Green Lantern was better than I thought he’d be
- didn’t know the chick from the last of us was gonna play hawk girl
- Lex was DOPE lol nigga was just the perfect amount of crazy & obsessed. Looking forward to seeing what’s next for him

Movie was a 8.5/10 for me and a fire start to the new DC. Also Superman bullshittin the whole film about why he gotta always gotta keep Krypto only to find out the dog belongs to drunk ass Supergirl was hilarious
 
I thought there was a frenetic pace to the film where you jump from scene to scene sometimes to the detriment of some scenes. I thought the chemistry between David and Rachel as Superman/Clark and Lois was excellent, it blows Henry Cavill and Amy Adams outta the water. Nicholas Hoult as Lex was brilliant. You actually feel the overwhelming contempt he has for Superman throughout. Comedic moments in it landed for me. I thought there was too much Krypto in this lol. Some of the cast were underutilized. I can see why the actor who played Mister Terrific felt this was redemption for him cause he was great in this. Also, David Corenswet was the right choice for Superman.

It's so obvious Boravia is supposed to represent Israel in this film lol. Shit, I wish Netanyahu would get dropped from a height like that by Hawkgirl

Definitely a standout. Character needed redemption after CW made him Mr. Fabulous.
 
Not a fan of Superman at all. I legit don’t think I’ve ever seen a Superman film, not even the Cavill ones.

But I think I’ll go see this in a few weeks.
 
One gripe I had was as smart as Lex was he had some dumb ass girlfriends. Like I get he needed someone inferior but got damn.
