Apparently he's too busy with peacemaker, superman and some other show/movie he can't put too much focus on the comic con panel this year. That's the excuse at least.
I didnt see a post for it, but Joel kinnamen is coming back for peacemaker season 2. Dunno if it's flashbacks or Rick flagg surviving or being revived. We gotta remember that peacemaker season 2 is going to be set in a different universe than the previous. It will be officially part of the new DCU and will address the change in sime way. Probably due to the Flashpoint events.
The time to introduce something was at Comic Con. The Fantastic Four were able to cook up a sizzle reel and they didn't start filming officially until today
