The Game Is The Game
Saw Dave last night. He came back home and did a show in Cleveland. This nigga is the GOAT man. No more debates about it.
Clipse was there too. They did a 30 minute set. Felt like a full concert. You can tell that they love being back on stage performing together again. Don't kow if they're going to all the stops with Dave or not but that was a fun surprise.
Donnell Rawlings is fucking hiarious lolololololololololololol That nigga is a fool man. He had the crowd busting up. I'm sure he's going to be on all the stops.
Dave has his annual Summer concert in Springfield, OH coming up in July. If you're close by, it's definitely worth stopping by. He's so down to earth man, it's crazy. He really taks to the people. He's approachable and he's never on no bullshit.
As for the show, this nigga was sharp. We saw him in Cleveland a few years ago and he brought Bone Thugs with him. That show wasn't a full special like this one. The show last night was tapped for his next Netflix special coming out. Felt like a hour and a half long set. The no cellphones honestly makes these events feel so much better. Everybody is engaged in the show and there's no distractions. It actually feels good to be out around people and sort of closed off from shit for a few hours.
He talked about a lot of shit. He went in on Charlie Kirk bitch ass lolololololololololol He was starting to tell a story about Candace Owens and how she got his number from a mutual friend (Kanye lol) and left him a video message. A lady started heckiling and he fried her ass. Fried her brother too and they got kicked out.
He destroyed Trump lolololololololololol Said that he hasn't read the Epstein files but he heard that Trump sucked Bill Clinton's dick and he believes it lolololololololololol Niggas was in stiches. That's when the lady started heckling about the Epstein files. A few Palastenians started doing the Free Palestein bit....... and he took a few minutes to acknowledge. A topic for another day but we need to talk about how those people in that movement like to hijack events to bring awareness to their cause........It's gotten to the point where people look at them sideways for how they conduct themselves.
Dave actually spun that into his whole situation with the Transgender jokes. He bascially said that a bunch of people (White Liberals) didn't actually listen to what he was saying and he said that he wasn't putting down their community and punching down. He explained how he was punching up. His whole point was that white men get to be whoever they want, even Transgender like Bruce Jenner, meanwhile, we will always be Niggas no matter what we do and people do not give us the same grace that they give people of other communities (LGBTQ) when they want to speak out about their injustices. It's not hard to understand what he was saying if you're Black but that was his point.........
I think some people were expecting him to look like he fell off or lost a step but, nope. That nigga was on point. He's probably dropping a new special soon with one of these tapings. Tickets were very rasonable too. Floor seats by the stage were ging for $100. That's a good deal. especially to see an act like Dave Chappelle and getting a Clipse concert.
I do want to say though that a lot of the negativity you see out there towards Dave, is coming from a very specific subset of people. It's white folks and more specifically, liberal ones. It's white people who want Dave to bend to their request to support their causes (ridiculous), meanwhile Dave is reiterating that even in the wild ass times that we are in now, these white folks don't understand that nothing has really changed for us (Black people). So while other communities, and more white people than maybe ever feel margnalized, attacked, and silenced, what they don't understand is that for the first time, they are getting just a small dose of the Black experience and just because they are being loud about expressing their feelings, doesn't mean that they are putting us up on game. They ain't telling us shit they we don't already know. So why do we need to listen? Fuck em.
