Dame Dash Is Selling His Stake In 'Reasonable Doubt'

As a former Psychology major I'm predisposed to dissecting everything. Gift/curse...

When Dame yelled "my son has cookies" I knew he was projecting back then. That whole spiel was a little too aggressive to be constructive

That's probably the point he saw himself going broke or at least being unrich

What’s crazy is that the interview took place over 10 years ago

Time flies

I believe what happened with Dame was that. When the Rocafella split happened or maybe even prior to, Jay started surrounding himself with people smarter than him and being open minded to their business advice. Where Dame just felt like he was the smartest person in the room and ignored anyone that came to him with a different approach than his.

agree with this EXCEPT he didn’t just ignore anyone that came to him with a different approach, he actively insulted, dissed, and belittled anyone that came to him with a different approach.

Agree. It also speaks to something I notice in certain individuals that survive a certain type of environment. At some point Dame’s demeanor and attitude helped him in certain rooms and environments he was in. However, once you get to a certain level, those same skills that helped you survive in one environment can be damaging in other environments. Those character traits might not be needed. Screaming and yelling might work in one room, however it will get you removed and look dumb in other rooms.

And, And, making Killa the VP 😂

According to Dame, he wanted to make killa and beans co-VPs, but Beans wasn’t business savvy enough. Either way, Jay probably saw that as a power play and Dame making important business decisions without consulting him first.
Add in the Jay/Cam internal ROC beef and yea….terribly calculated move on Dame’s part

I just realized something... I have no idea why Dame is in so much financial trouble. Is it taxes? Child support? Someone help me out. I'm not googling it either because losses of this magnitude require research that I don't have time to do.

Lost a lot of money in real estate during the 08 crash. Poor investments, then taxes & finally his ex filing child support i guess he aint been paying.

He owes like 9 mill in taxes alone & i think 6 figures for child support.

Damn, never good to see guys lose everything in their 50s... Hope he hasnt burned all his connections and has a network to get himself up again...
