There are plenty of reasons why a drug deal could go . Maybe they were trying to short him money. They drove all that way. They probably weren't trying to go home empty handed. Maybe he didn't have what they promised and they got mad about that. Maybe one them said something about his mama.
The bold is why I say you dudes are slaves to your own enemy. You see everything through the lens of how it relates to them. Me telling you to wait until more information is available had nothing to do with giving my enemies a fair shake. I told you that because its the logical way to proceed in pretty much any situation. I don't really know what your background is, but I'm a scientist by training and a research analyst by trade. That means I operate by gathering data, assessing the data, and drawing conclusions from the results. So when I tell you dudes that it's silly to jump to conclusions you were jumping to, it wasn't because I believed those conclusions were impossible or unlikely. And it damn sure wasn't because I believe the racist ass cops deserve the benefit of the doubt. It was because I know you didn't have the information to support your conclusions. You want to speculate, fine. That's no different than making a hypothesis, but no one with sense treats a hypothesis as a proven fact before any solid information has been collected. How many times have we seen people gear up for war in defense of someone only to find out that that person was in the wrong or lying? Shit like that doesn't help us, so why do so many of you insist on continuing to do it. Black people aren't in a position where we can be dumb about the way we move and expect to be successful.
This scientific process, as vital as it is, often doesn't mean anything to such a devilish enemy.
It's not always to our advantage to advocate playing by such rules when competing and regulated by those that don't.
Reads like this conclusion you drew of what you bolded was misinterpreted.
But I'm glad you brought the whole "lens" thing up.
Looking through the enemy's lens should be a means of bringing understanding to how our opponents move.
So observe them because they solve their problems and maybe we can learn how to solve ours.
They do it in times of war. They do it in sports. They do it to catch criminals. They do it in business. You do it to stay competitive.
As we type our opposition is watching and observing through our lens all across social media.
They understand that there are lessons to be learned in doing so.
But it is short-sighted think it's about being a slave to anyone.
Or you are doing it wrong if looking through their lens does make a person treat black people as devils do.
