Dallas Officer Amber Guyger's trial for the murder of Botham Shem Jean begins (FOUND GUILTY)

find purpose or searching for hope?

Both. Christianity has helped some people. That's not even debatable. At the very least, good churches act as charitable outlets, so the beneficiaries of that work are helped. At best, the community and structure of churches help those that need that kind of thing in their lives. That's not even getting into the spiritual side of it. So, questioning the good of Christianity is stupid, at least the way its done by people on here. They don't see the good side because they don't want to see the good side. They rather bitch about someone exercising their Christian principles in a way that really doesn't affect them one way or the other.

More forgiveness. Bet his apologetic ass aint parting with nin of that wealth his family generated from enslaving their family

Shit like that is silly. We, as the descendants of slaves, can't forgive anyone for that. We didn't go through that. We could potentially forgive for the effects that we feel today, but why would we do that? When the topic of reparations comes up, most of these white people scoff at it. They can't possibly be sorry for what happened in the past if they don't even want to try to undo the damage done.

A message for all my lost, dazed and confused Christian brothers and sisters.
